Ampere Recruitment are supporting a leading engineering organisation in Baden-Württemberg in the search for a Project Manager with a strong technical grounding in electronics or power supplies.

This is a key position sitting between engineering and stakeholders, ideal for someone who understands power electronics but enjoys driving projects, timelines, and delivery.

The Role

You will take ownership of complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to production. Working closely with R&D, customers, and senior leadership, you'll act as the central point of coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end project delivery within power electronics / electronic systems
• Managing timelines, budgets, risks, and resource planning
• Acting as the interface between engineering teams and external stakeholders
• Supporting technical decision-making with your electronics knowledge
• Driving cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and manufacturing
• Ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and performance targets
• Facilitating design reviews and tracking project milestones

What They're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within electronics or power electronics
• Strong technical understanding of:
• Power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) or electronic systems
• Engineering development lifecycle
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred)
