Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement a strategy for regular penetration tests and vulnerability scans
• You will conduct white-box, gray-box, and black-box tests of our IT infrastructure, web applications, and networks
• You will analyze and evaluate identified vulnerabilities in terms of their criticality and potential impact
• You will prepare detailed technical reports with clear recommendations for addressing security vulnerabilities
• You will advise the IT and development teams on implementing secure development practices ("Security by Design")
• You will work closely with the IT operations, system administration, and software development teams

Profile

• You hold a degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a comparable qualification obtained through relevant training and corresponding professional experience
• You have practical experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking, particularly in conducting security tests for web applications in accordance with the OWASP Top 10
• You are familiar with common security tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus / OpenVAS) and have knowledge of technical vulnerability management as well as the administration and configuration of SIEM / XDR solutions such as Wazuh
• Technical certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, eJPT / eWPT, or comparable certifications are a significant advantage; certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable
• You have a good command of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating tests
• You are characterized by a proactive, solution-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English, as well as a willingness to travel occasionally to our locations, round out your profile
